In Matthew 28:19, Jesus left his disciples with a single mission: to make disciples. A disciple is a person who follows Christ - someone who constantly grows in their faith and confidence in Jesus. We are a gathering of people who bring the good news into dark spaces.
“The Stone” exists to love and lead people into a growing faith in Jesus.
Our Vision
Be a light in dark spaces.
In John 8:12, Jesus says, “I am the Light of the World”. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.

OUR PASTOR
Jamaal Pierre-August
Pastor Jamaal Pierre-August is first and foremost a family man. He is the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone International Ministries based in Opelousas, LA since August 2021. He was entrusted with Cornerstone International Ministries-Opelousas by the founding pastors, Apostle Sylvester and Dr. Ursula Murphy, after 12 years of operation. Jamaal’s ministry is marked by the evident demonstration of God's supernatural presence and power, merging its reality in everyday practical living. He is an alumnus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is married to Shaniqua Pierre-August and has three beautiful children.
