We believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Son of God, born of a virgin woman who was crucified, died, and rose again on the third day. He ascended to the heavens and now sits at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:30-35).
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is gained through repentance and the confession of sins; it is given by divine grace (not by works) and is received by faith in Jesus Christ. He is the only mediator between God and men (Acts 4:12).
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inspired, infallible, and unchangeable from Genesis to Revelation (2 Timothy 3:16). One God in three people. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that the three are one. (1 John 5:7)
THE RESURRECTION
We believe in the second coming of Christ for His people, that the dead in Christ will rise first, he will take up those who are alive, and all will go through the judgment of God. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will rise again for eternal life, and those whose names aren’t will face eternal condemnation (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelation 20:11- 15).
BAPTISM
We believe in the baptism of the Body of Christ, by which the person accepts Jesus, is born again, and becomes part of the Body of Christ and His eternal life. We believe in the baptism in water as a sign of identifying with the death (to sin) and the resurrection of Jesus for eternal life (Romans 6:4). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and that, through this baptism, we receive the power to be witnesses of Jesus to the whole world (Jude 1:20 Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Mark 16:17).
LAYING OF HANDS
We believe that the laying of hands is one of the ways to transfer blessings, healing, and the power of God from one person to another (Acts 8:15-20, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6).
C O M M U N I O N
Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is a unique time when the elements of bread and juice express, in a spiritual way, the body and blood of Christ. Believers take communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. (Matthew 26:26-28; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 8:36-38, 10:47-48; 1 Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25)
H E A L T H & P R O S P E R I T Y
We believe that, as part of Christ’s work of salvation, it is the Father’s will for believers to become whole, healthy, and successful in all areas of life: 1. Spiritual (John 3:3, 11: Romans 10:9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21) 2. Mental & Emotional (Isaiah 26:3; 2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 12:2) 3. Physical (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24) 4. Financial (Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 34:10, 84:11; Malachi 3:10)
THE KINGDOM OF GOD
We believe the kingdom of God is a government, and Jesus Christ is King. These two beliefs are the highest and most absolute truths (Acts 8:12).
THE HEALING AND DELIVERING POWER OF THE KINGDOM
We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick, cast out demons, and make miracles, signs, and wonders (Matthew 12:28).
FAITH
We believe without faith, it is impossible to live a life that is pleasing to God and that through it, we inherit His promises (Hebrews 11:6).
PREACHING THE GOSPEL
We believe in expanding the Kingdom locally, nationally, and internationally through every means available to us (Matthew 24:14).
THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRIES
We believe in the five ministries of Ephesians 4:11 as the gifts given by God to the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11).
