The founders of Cornerstone, Apostles Sylvester and Ursula Murphy, have been leading this congregation for 25 years with faithful ministry. They have played a vital role in training and equipping people to lead successful lives and in launching men and women of God into their destinies. Their unwavering faith has enabled them to plant three churches, including CIM- Opelousas Campus, where their son in the gospel, Pastor Jamaal Pierre-August, serves as the Senior Pastor. Additionally, they provide spiritual guidance to several prominent pastors, near and far. Cornerstone is a church located in Ville Platte and Opelousas, Louisiana, serving the local community and surrounding areas through radio ministry and various programs aimed at promoting empowerment and positive change.
